Job summary

The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) at MultiCare functions independently, using the nursing process to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care across the lifespan. You will collaborate with patients, families, physicians and care teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State or MLS endorsement.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Advanced Life Support certification may be required after hire, depending on assigned clinic site.
• Two years of experience as a RN - in a clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Independently triages patients in person, via telephone and secure messages using protocols and standards.
• Applies critical thinking to make decisions regarding patient care with relevant standards and data.
• Delivers medical regimens as directed by physicians/APPs.
• Delegates selected patient care functions to qualified staff.
• Collaborates with the clinic team to improve overall quality of care and patient experience.
• Fosters a learning environment for patients, families and health care team members.
• Advocates for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
