Job summary

MultiCare Health System is hiring an experienced Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) for a 1.0 FTE Day shift in Spokane. Candidates must have Washington RN licensure (MLS) and current BLS; ACLS may be required after hire.

External applicants only, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a 24-month commitment. The RN will assess, plan, coordinate, and delegate nursing care across the lifespan, collaborating with physicians, APPs, and the care team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State or MLS
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• ACLS may be required after hire depending on clinic site
• Two years of RN experience in a clinic setting preferred
• Transition to Practice Program for less experienced candidates

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide nursing care and optimize patient functioning
• Independently triages patients in person, by phone and via secure messages
• Uses critical thinking to make patient care decisions with standards and data
• Delivers medical regimens as directed by physicians/APPs
• Delegates patient care functions to others per education and competence
• Collaborates with clinic team to improve quality of care and patient experience
• Fosters a learning environment for patients and families
• Advocates for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds
