Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Puyallup, WA is hiring a Clinic Registered Nurse for the Infectious Disease Clinic. The RN will independently apply the nursing process to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate care across the patient lifespan.

You will triage, document and collaborate with physicians, APPs and care teams to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced clinic setting. Join a team that emphasizes professional growth, shared governance and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State (or MLS).
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Advanced Life Support certification may be required after hire, depending on clinic site.
• Two years of RN experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Candidates with less than two years' experience may be considered for Transition to Practice.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate care.
• Independently triages patients in person, via telephone and secure messages.
• Uses critical thinking to make decisions regarding patient care under physician/APP guidance.
• Collaborates with the clinic team to improve quality of care and patient experience.
• Advocates for ethical, holistic care honoring diverse backgrounds.
• Fosters a learning environment for patients, families and health care team.
