Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Infectious Disease Clinic. You will provide specialized care for patients with infectious diseases, working closely with a board-certified physician and clinic manager.

The role offers full-time hours, day shifts, and a collaborative, patient-centered environment with opportunities for professional development in wound care and case management.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited program (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse). Wound Care Certification is highly preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in the clinic setting (strongly preferred) or 4 hours of job shadowing in our clinic (required).
• Skills:Communication, confidence, empathy, professionalism, critical thinking, patient assessment, self-discipline, integrity, and willingness to learn.
• Licensure/Certification: Active Missouri License as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Start day by reviewing priorities, preparing patient charts, completing documentation reviews, and following up on outstanding tasks.
• Support the physician by rooming patients, completing assessments and intake documentation, providing clinical updates, and assisting with procedures.
• Handle administrative and case management responsibilities with timely communication with patients and healthcare providers.
• Provide comprehensive case management, care coordination, prior authorization support, and support other clinic operations and administrative functions.
• Administer vaccines, remove PICC lines, perform wound care, and complete dressing changes.
• Serve as a key resource for patients, helping them navigate complex treatment plans and achieve optimal health outcomes.
