• CPR/BLS certification required.

• Autonomy in a correctional healthcare environment preferred.
• Background check and security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prevent and control infectious diseases within the facility.
• Coordinate data collection, interpretation, and reporting of infection data.
• Assist in developing care plans for patients with infectious diseases.
• Serve as a consultant to nurses, physicians, and other staff on infection control and reporting.
• May be asked to work floors for coverage and adapt to clinic needs.
