Aura Care Group is seeking an RN for a combined clinical and leadership role at Hopkins Restorative Care Center in Hopkins, MN. The Infection Preventionist will oversee infection control, wound care, and staff education, ensuring CMS and state compliance across the facility.

The role collaborates with administrators and the medical director to promote resident safety, quality outcomes, and survey readiness, while delivering hands-on clinical leadership in a skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license preferred.
• Long-term care skilled nursing experience required.
• Knowledge of CMS regulations, infection control standards, and survey process.
• Infection Preventionist Certification.
• Strong organizational, teaching, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention efforts and wound care planning in a skilled nursing setting.

Infection Preventionist, Staff Development, Wound Care Nurse

We are seeking an RN nurse to serve in a combined clinical and leadership role within our skilled nursing Facility. This position plays a vital role in infection prevention, wound care management, staff education, and regulatory compliance in accordance with CMS Conditions of Participation, Appendix PP, CDC guidance, and state regulations.

This role works collaboratively with the Administrator, Director of Nursing, Medical Director, and interdisciplinary team to promote resident safety, quality outcomes, and survey readiness.
