Avalon Care Center Bellingham in Bellingham, WA is seeking an Infection Preventionist / Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to lead infection prevention and serve as a clinical education leader. You will protect resident health while guiding staff development and education.

In this dual leadership role, you will monitor infections, coordinate audits, train staff on prevention practices, support onboarding and ongoing training, and collaborate with clinical teams to improve safety and outcomes for

Formación

• Current Washington RN license (or NLC-eligible).
• Current Infection Prevention certification required.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
• Experience with staff education and training preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Post-acute care or long-term care experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead infection prevention and control efforts throughout the facility.
• Monitor, track, and investigate infections and potential outbreaks.
• Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention practices.
• Conduct audits and support compliance with infection control standards.
