Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a health care setting.
• Formal APIC courses in Infection Control desirable.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Surveil, prevent and control infections hospital-wide.
• Serve as education consultant on safe Infection Control practices.
• Coordinate infection control activities with committees and staff.
• Respond to potential exposures and communicate with regulatory agencies.
