Saint Therese in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our Infection Prevention & Control Program. You will monitor infection trends, educate staff, and ensure regulatory compliance to protect residents and staff.

This full-time role requires current Minnesota RN license and training in infection prevention. Responsibilities include data tracking, root cause analyses, policy oversight, PPE compliance, and participation in QAPI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota RN license in good standing.
• Training, certification, or experience in Infection Prevention and Control.
• Experience with infection control management and risk management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data and implement evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program.
• Track, analyze, and report healthcare-associated infection (HAI) data.
• Conduct investigations, root cause analyses, and develop action plans.
• Oversee infection prevention policies, procedures, and antibiotic stewardship efforts.
• Monitor compliance with PPE, isolation precautions, and other infection control protocols.
• Educate and train staff on infection prevention best practices.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted resource for infection prevention across the organization.
