Job summary

Complete Care Management is seeking an Infection Preventionist-LPN to join our skilled nursing team in New Jersey. You will apply infection prevention principles, provide patient care based on nursing knowledge, and educate residents and families about wound care.

A valid NJ LPN license, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and Infection Preventionist Certification are required. The position includes a weekend shift once per month and offers comprehensive benefits, PTO, health/dental/vision coverage,

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, unencumbered New Jersey LPN license.
• Infection Preventionist Certification required.
• At least 1 year of long-term care/skilled nursing experience as an Infection Preventionist.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize changes in residents' conditions and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions based on resident needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Implement physician orders accurately and within appropriate time frames.
• Educate and counsel residents and their families regarding wound care processes and related concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator.
• Schedule includes one weekend per month.
