Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an Infection Preventionist (LPN) to join our family-oriented team in New Jersey. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to supervise staff, develop care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role focuses on preventing infections, educating staff, and leading quality improvement efforts in a long-term care setting. An active NJ LPN license and LTC/SNF experience are preferred, with a supportive management team and

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NJ LPN license.
• Experience in nursing leadership, preferably in LTC/SNF.
• Previous LTC/SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to manage and supervise nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Assist in developing and implementing nursing care plans and ensuring they are followed.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident care and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Monitor and maintain nursing supplies, equipment, and medications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Monitor and help prevent infections throughout the facility by following safety guidelines and educating staff on proper infection control practices.
• Track infection trends, complete audits, and work with the nursing team to keep residents and staff safe and healthy.
