The Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Infection Preventionist at one of our skilled nursing facilities in Scranton. This full-time role focuses on planning, implementing and evaluating infection prevention and control programs to protect residents and staff.

You will train staff, develop care plans related to infection prevention, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Shift options and competitive licensure-based wages are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of work.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Must have completed specialized training in infection prevention and control, including state-specific training.

Responsabilités

• Oversee infection prevention and control program across the community.
• Develop training plans and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Supervise nursing staff in delivery of care per standards.
