AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a data-driven infection prevention professional to leverage technology for surveillance and reporting, ensuring data integrity and timely submission to regulatory systems.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners including public health officials and vendors to enhance infection prevention outcomes, advocate for evidence-based practices, and support research and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in clinical settings, infection control or public health.
• Infection Control Certification (CIC) preferred.
• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.

Job Description:

Leverages technology for surveillance and reporting, ensuring data integrity and timely submission to applicable regulatory systems.

Collaborates with internal teams and external partners including public health officials, healthcare coalitions, and vendors to enhance infection prevention outcomes.

Advocates for evidence-based practices, maintaining adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Participates in research and quality improvement initiatives, differentiating between QI and research, and disseminating results through education and consultation.

Contributes to product evaluation and cost-effectiveness initiatives, supporting organizational goals through informed decision-making and business case development.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 5/8's with the possibility of working extra hours if needed
