Job summary

MediLodge of Marshall is seeking an experienced RN to lead Infection Prevention and Control initiatives. You will coordinate infection surveillance, provide education to clinical staff, and ensure adherence to current standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid RN license for the state of employment.
• CPR certification.
• Two years of nursing experience preferred with infection control training.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and report infection data and trends to nursing staff and practitioners.
• Consult on infection risk assessment, prevention, and control strategies.
• Provide education and training on evidence-based infection control practices.
• Oversee surveillance system elements and identify infection patterns.
• Share surveillance results with the director of nursing and medical director.
• Implement transmission-based precautions and containment plans for outbreaks.
