Job summary

Premier Health is seeking an Infection Preventionist for a full-time role in Ohio. The IP will oversee daily prevention activities, align with organizational priorities, and collaborate with inpatient and outpatient teams to reduce infection risk using CMS, CDC, OSHA, and EPA guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, Ohio RN licensure if applicable, and 3 years of hospital experience, with strong NHSN and EMR proficiency. Certification in Infection Control is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing, Epidemiology, Microbiology, Public Health or similar preferred.
• Registration as RN in Ohio if applicable.
• Certification in Infection Control strongly preferred.
• Three years clinical experience in an acute care hospital required.
• Two years experience in infection control preferred; NHSN knowledge and surveillance systems proficiency expected.
