Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking an Infection Preventionist for a full-time role with standard hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and 80 hours per pay. The IP will lead daily infection prevention activities, aligning with system-wide priorities to reduce infection risk for patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Licensure: Current State of Ohio licensure as Registered Nurse, if applicable.
• Certification: Certification in Infection Control strongly preferred.
• Experience: Three years clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
• Skills/Other: Knowledge of NHSN; proficient in key clinical and administrative databases for active surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily infection prevention activities to meet system goals.
• Collaborate with clinically responsible staff across inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Interpret and apply CMS, CDC, OSHA, ODH, APIC, TJC, and EPA guidelines related to infection control.
