Responsibilities

• Develop and implement facility-wide infection surveillance, prevention and control policies.
• Audit adherence to infection prevention policies and procedures by staff.
• Coordinate with antibiotic stewardship program.
• Develop and update infection control plans and risk assessments.
• Gather, interpret and maintain records of infections; prepare reports for committees.
