The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place in Williamsburg, Virginia is seeking an Infection Prevention RN to join the hospital team onsite. The role coordinates and leads the infection prevention and control program, including surveillance, staff training, and policy implementation.

The position emphasizes preventing outbreaks and ensuring a safe care environment. Requirements include a nursing license (state or compact), Bachelor’s degree, and experience in infection prevention.

Qualifications

• RN with infection prevention experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; APIC/CIC preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead infection prevention program.
• Perform surveillance of infections and report data.
• Educate staff on infection control practices and policies.
• Administer TB testing and vaccination programs.
• Investigate exposure incidents and follow up appropriately.
