Job summary

The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place is seeking an Infection Prevention RN to lead the facility’s infection prevention program in Williamsburg, VA. You will coordinate surveillance, training, and policy implementation to protect patients and staff.

The ideal candidate has a nursing license, 1+ year in infection prevention, and solid knowledge of epidemiology and disease transmission. Onsite work with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• One or more years’ experience in Infection Prevention/Control preferred.
• Working knowledge of agents which cause disease and infection control principles required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts ongoing surveillance of infections and compiles data with medical leadership.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to implement infection prevention policies.
• Monitors patient care to identify infection risks and reinforce prevention practices.
• Provides in-services and training on Infection Prevention/Control, OSHA, and vaccines.
