Job summary

Othello Community Hospital in Othello, WA seeks a Day-Shift Infection Prevention Control RN to lead our infection prevention program and promote patient safety.

This working RN collaborates with hospital leadership, clinical staff, and community partners to reduce healthcare-associated infections and create a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Must obtain CIC within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• Certification in Infection Prevention (CIC) within one year of hire.
• Experience in infection prevention preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the hospital's Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Develop, review, and update infection prevention policies and procedures.
• Conduct infection surveillance, monitoring, and reporting.
• Lead infection prevention initiatives and quality improvement activities.
• Provide education and training on infection prevention practices.
• Collaborate with leadership and clinical departments to ensure regulatory compliance.
