Job summary

Aurora Health and Rehabiliation is seeking an Infection Prevention Nurse (IPN) to lead the facility-wide Infection Prevention and Control Program. The role requires acting as a practitioner, resource, consultant, educator, and facilitator for all staff, with a focus on preventing and controlling infections.

RN or LPN license in the practicing state is required, plus current BLS/CPR and Certification in Infection Prevention and Control. The position is full-time with hours 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• RN/LPN license required.
• Current, unencumbered nursing license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in nursing management and infection prevention control.
• Must have Certification in Infection Prevention and Control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility-wide Infection Prevention Control Program.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and state regulations, Administration (OSHA), APIC, AHOP, and other regulatory agencies.
• Prioritize Infection Prevention goals.
• Collaborate with Department managers and medical directors in implementing aspects of the Infection Prevention Program when requested or as needed.

Are you an experienced and assertive Nurse passionate about infection prevention and control? We are seeking a dynamic Infection Prevention Nurse (IPN) to join our team. As an IPN, you will be responsible for leading the Infection Prevention and Control Program. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including being a practitioner, resource, consultant, educator, and facilitator for all staff.
