Job summary

Genesis HealthCare's Belen Meadows Post Acute is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse Infection Preventionist to lead the center's IPCP, educate staff, and drive infection prevention and control across locations.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with licensure in the state, completed infection prevention training within 90 days, and at least three years of nursing experience, with flexibility to cover evening and night shifts.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing. 8 RN, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience is required.
Must be able to work flexible hours in order to meet with employees working evening and night shifts.

Responsibilities

Support IPCP and educate staff on infection prevention and control.
Create and implement education programs based on identified infection control needs.
Develop, monitor, and maintain IPCP to ensure quality of care related to infections and communicable diseases.
