Genesis’s Belen Meadows Post Acute in New Mexico is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse Infection Preventionist to lead the center's IPCP, provide staff education, and collaborate with leadership to prevent infections. The IP will monitor outcomes, support outbreaks, and ensure employee health across locations.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• 8 RN, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Infection Prevention and Control Program oversight across the nursing center.
• Provide infection prevention and control training for new hires.
• Develop and implement IPC education programs based on identified needs.
