Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Clinical acute care 5-7 years of experience.
• Registered Nurse licensed in Tennessee.
• Certification in Infection Control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data from patients, associates, and environment to determine infection rates and reports to committees.
• Identifies outbreaks, assesses and implements intervention activities.
• Assists in outbreak investigations, including specimen collection and data gathering.
• Monitors infection control practices within hospital departments and ensures proper isolation procedures.
• Participates in professional development and mentors others.
• Supports Infection Prevention Director in planning and coordinating ICP policies and PI initiatives.
