• CIC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead surveillance of healthcare-associated infections and analyze trends.
• Educate staff on infection prevention best practices to protect patients and staff.
• Develop and implement infection control protocols with nursing leadership.
• Review policies, procedures and participate in hospital committees.
• Act as a preceptor for newly hired Infection Preventionists and provide training.
