Job summary

Minnewaska Community Health Services is seeking an Infection Prevention/ RN Case Manager at our Starbuck, MN facility. The role ensures infection and antibiotic stewardship control, accurate assessments, and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements.

The IP/CM will identify resident and staff acuity, determine care needs, coordinate with physicians, and train staff on infection control and antibiotic stewardship.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Minnesota.
• Willingness to become certified infection preventionist.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain an infection prevention program with input from DON and/or Administrator.
• Perform surveillance and investigations to prevent infections and spread.
• Prevent and control outbreaks using transmission-based precautions.
• Train staff on infection control and antibiotic stewardship.
