Dawn Hill Home for Rehab and Nursing is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention Nurse (RN) to lead and strengthen our infection prevention program in a skilled nursing setting. The role focuses on program development, monitoring, and ongoing improvement to ensure safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds current RN licensure, at least 3 years in infection prevention, and familiarity with QAPI and antibiotic stewardship.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of infection prevention and control experience, preferably in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local infection prevention requirements.
• Experience with infection surveillance, investigation, reporting, and outbreak management.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor, and improve the facility's infection prevention and control program.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership, clinical staff, residents, families, and departments to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Lead outbreak investigations and reporting; support antibiotic stewardship and QAPI initiatives.

Dawn Hill Home for Rehab and Nursing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Infection Prevention Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced infection prevention professional who is passionate about protecting residents, supporting clinical teams, and maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and quality care in a skilled nursing environment.

The Infection Prevention Nurse will be responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, and ongoing improvement of the facility's infection prevention and control program. This position will work closely with nursing leadership, clinical staff, residents, families, and other departments to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and best practices.
