Job summary

Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital is seeking an Infection Control Manager to lead comprehensive infection prevention and control programs. You will oversee surveillance, investigation and reporting of HAIs, develop evidence-based policies, educate staff, and ensure regulatory compliance across the facility.

The role requires epidemiology and regulatory expertise, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record of driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years clinical experience in Nursing, Microbiology, Biology, or Public Health.
• 2+ years as an Infection Preventionist in an acute care facility.
• Active state license for RN or Clinical Lab Scientist; CBIC certification to be obtained within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee surveillance, investigation and reporting of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
• Develop and implement evidence-based infection prevention policies.
• Educate staff and ensure regulatory compliance across the facility.
• Monitor trends, conduct risk assessments and lead outbreak investigations.
