Job summary

Key responsibilities include directing data collection, analysis, and reporting to regulatory agencies and leadership, while developing and refining prevention processes to improve patient safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare field required.
• Infection Control Certification required or obtained within two years after requirements are met.
• Minimum of five years experience in healthcare setting.
• Minimum of two years direct Infection Prevention, infection Control, or related infection prevention experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Infection Prevention Program in collaboration with infectious disease physician.
• Report data to regulatory agencies, governing boards, and leadership.
• Develop and refine infection prevention processes and infrastructure.
• Educate staff on evidence-based practices for infection prevention.
