Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in a clinical setting
• 1+ years' experience in Infection Control
• 1+ years' experience in a leadership role
• Certification in Infection Control within 2 years of hire date

Responsibilities

• Participate in infection prevention surveys and surveillance/rounding, based on the organization's risk assessment plan
• Apply epidemiologic principles and statistical methods to identify target populations and design prevention strategies
• Collect and analyze data related to infection prevention and control and implement safety precautions
• Interpret data to determine risk and implement isolation precautions when indicated
