Job summary

Atlas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a full-time Infection Prevention and Control leader in New Jersey to develop and implement comprehensive infection prevention programs across the facility. The role focuses on preventing and controlling infections, leading policy initiatives, and guiding stewardship efforts.

Responsibilities include establishing facility-wide infection processes, overseeing high-risk care activities, and chairing committees to drive continuous improvement in infection control

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements an ongoing infection prevention and control program to prevent and control infections and maintain a safe environment.
• Establishes systems to prevent/identify/report/investigate infections among residents, staff and visitors.
• Develops policies in line with current infection prevention standards and guidelines.
• Oversees antibiotic stewardship program.
• Oversees high-risk infection-related resident care activities (catheters, wounds, incontinence, skin care, blood tests, injections).
• Leads Infection & Prevention Control Committee and develops improvement plans.
• Participates in the QAA committee as assigned.
• Implements annual infection control risk assessment and facility assessment processes.
