Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking an experienced RN for infection prevention across inpatient settings. The role focuses on coordinating infection prevention activities, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting accreditation surveys.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, at least 2 years of hospital experience in infection prevention, and familiarity with Joint Commission and DOH surveys. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• RN with hospital experience (2+ years) in infection prevention.
• BSN required.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, healthcare regulations and regulatory surveys.
• Experience with Joint Commission and DOH surveys preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and revise Infection Control Programs and policies.
• Participate in rounds, educate staff on infection prevention practices.
• Monitor hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support surveillance activities, outbreak investigations, and infection control initiatives.
• Collaborate with community health agencies and public health authorities.
• Stay current with CDC, NHSN reporting criteria, and accreditation requirements.
• Review medical records for infection control indicators and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Participate in continuing education and professional associations to maintain expertise.
