Job summary

Centurion Health in Bowling Green, MO, seeks a full-time Infection Control Nurse (LPN) at Northeast Correctional Center. You will lead infection prevention efforts, collect and report data, and assist in care planning for patients with infectious diseases.

Requirements include MO or Compact LPN license, IV certification, TB screening, CPR/BLS, and 1–3 years in public health or acute care with infection prevention focus. CIC preferred.

Qualifications

• Missouri or Compact Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• IV certified.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in public health, long term care or acute care with focus on infection prevention and control.
• Current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience working with a high degree of autonomy.
• Correctional environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform prevention and control of infectious diseases.
• Coordinate data collection, interpretation, and reporting.
• Assist in developing care plans for patients with infectious diseases.
• Serve as a consultant to nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals on care, tracking and reporting of infectious disease.
