Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Infection Control Nurse (LPN) at Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, MO to lead infection prevention efforts and coordinate data collection, interpretation, and reporting. You will support care plans, advise clinicians, and ensure compliance with TB screening, CPR and BLS, and security requirements.

The role requires Missouri LPN licensure (or compact), IV certification, CIC preferred, 1–3 years in public health/correctional settings, and

• Missouri or Compact LPN license required.
• Must be IV certified.
• CIC certification preferred.
• 1–3 years’ nursing experience in public health, long-term care, or acute care with infection prevention focus.
• Current tuberculosis screening, CPR and BLS certification.
• Experience working with a high degree of autonomy required.
• Experience in correctional environment preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance including drug screen and background check.

We are currently seeking a full-timeInfection Control Nurse (LPN)to join our team at NortheastCorrectional Center located in Bowling Green, Missouri.

The Infection Control Nurse (LPN) is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving the prevention and control of infectious diseases. The Infection Control Nurse will coordinate the collecting, interpreting, and reporting of data, assist in the development of care plans for patients with infectious diseases, and will serve as a consultant to nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding care, tracking, and reporting of patients identified with infectious disease.

Qualifications

• Missouri or Compact Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licenserequired
• Must be IV certified
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred
• 1 to 3 years’ experience providing nursing care in a public health environment, long term care or acute care setting with focus on infection prevention and control
• Must show current tuberculosis screening documentation and active Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience working with a high degree of autonomy required
• Experience in correctional environment preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
