Job summary

Olympic View Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role supports infection prevention, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance by meeting facility, state, and federal cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas; proper chemical handling; waste disposal; and participating in training and safety initiatives to ensure a hygienic

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Follow safety guidelines and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and treatment areas.
• Perform terminal cleaning for discharges, transfers, and isolation rooms.
• Properly store cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Follow facility policies and regulations (CMS and WA Dept of Health).
• Dispose of waste and biohazard materials per protocols.
• Restock paper goods, soap, and hand sanitizers.
• Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
• Interact professionally with residents, families, and staff.
