Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Long-term care housekeeping experience preferred.

• Knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting principles.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms daily.
• Keep rooms, contents clean and orderly per resident wishes.
• Clean other areas daily: tub/shower, offices, kitchens, lounges.
• Practice infection control policies.
• Report repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist with weekly and monthly major housekeeping tasks.
• Respond to emergencies and attend in-service training.
