The DC Army National Guard is seeking Infantryman to support ground operations, reconnaissance, and the defense of positions during training and missions.

You will complete 14 weeks of Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, earning a regular paycheck while learning valuable infantry skills and being paid during drill weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform well under stress.
• Physically and mentally fit to serve in infantry duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reconnaissance operations.
• Operate, fire, and recover weapons and engage targets with night vision sights.
• Operate and maintain communications equipment.
• Perform as a member of a fire team during training and combat missions.
• Process prisoners of war and captured documents.
• Aid in the mobilization of vehicles, troops, and weaponry.
