Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries is seeking a full-time Infant Toddler (ITCS) Teacher Assistant for the CHILDREN SERVICES HEAD START MANN HOME location in Bedford, PA. This role supports the Lead Teacher to implement developmentally appropriate activities for children from birth to three years.

The position runs Monday through Friday, first shift, with no holidays or weekends. It includes responsibilities such as maintaining records, ensuring safety, and promoting learning through structured

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and two years (2,500) hours work-related experience.
• CDA credentials preferred.
• Experience related to the care and development of young children.

Responsibilities

• Assist ITCS lead teacher to implement individualized activities.
• Maintain classroom records such as attendance and meals.
• Monitor and maintain inventory and supplies for the classroom.
• Provide a nurturing environment for birth to three-year-olds.
• Assist in feeding infants and during mealtimes per procedures.
• Encourage social skills and cooperative play among children.
