Job summary

Menlo School is seeking a warm, collaborative teacher for its Child Care Center on campus. The role supports children from infancy to five years in a play-based program with small ratios during a 10-month schedule (mid-August to mid-June).

The team partners with families to foster cognitive, physical, emotional and social development in a safe, nurturing environment. The position emphasizes relationship-building with families and coworkers and requires CPR/First Aid, mandated reporter training,

Qualifications

• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
• Minimum of 3 years of directly related experience.
• At least 24 ECE units including an infant/toddler development class.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Completed Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training.
• Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers in a collaborative environment.
• Outstanding customer service, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
• Must be physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
