Discovery Kidzone in Bozeman is seeking an Infant & Toddler Teacher who is warm, caring, and enthusiastic to join our classroom. No prior childcare experience is required; we provide paid training, ongoing support, and opportunities to pursue CDA or Montessori credentials while growing your career with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Caring, patient, dependable, and attentive.
• Interested in infant and toddler development.
• Positive and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Organized and able to stay calm in a busy classroom.
• A strong communicator.
• Willing to learn and complete required Montana licensing training.
• CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Previous childcare experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children.
• Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and play.
• Prepare bottles and follow proper food storage and sanitation procedures.
• Create engaging experiences through music, sensory activities, books, movement, and play.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Maintain a calm, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Observe and document children's daily activities and developmental milestones.
• Communicate professionally with families about children's routines, progress, and milestones.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support a successful classroom.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and healthy learning environment.
