Primrose School of 4S Ranch in San Diego, CA is seeking an Infant Teacher to support development through the Primrose Balanced Learning approach. You will plan activities and supervise a group of children, ensuring safety and engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications

• 15 ECE Units including Infant and Toddler class.
• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. for infant/toddler care. Infants & toddlers course recommended.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supervision and class functions for a group of children.
• Observe rules/regulations from local/state/national agencies for health and safety.
• Assess each child's developmental needs continuously.
• Implement approved lesson plans and daily schedule per Primrose Balanced Learning.
• Plan parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations with Leadership Team.
• Maintain a clean, attractive classroom encouraging exploration and decision making.
• Provide clear expectations and positive recognition of children.
• Attend required meetings and trainings; uphold professional appearance.
