Job summary

Celebree School is hiring an Infant/Toddler Teacher to shape early development in a nurturing classroom. You will align with Celebree's vision and values, delivering developmentally appropriate activities and supporting aides’ growth into early childhood education roles.

Ideal candidates bring patience, strong communication, and the ability to manage a busy infant/toddler classroom while ensuring safety, documentation, and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• Of good character and reputation
• Capable of carrying out assigned responsibilities
• Capable of accepting training and supervision
• Be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Have at least three months of programmatic experience in addition to a degree, qualifying credential or endorsement in a child-related field
• This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
• The ability to manage a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills, patience, flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the day’s activities alongside our infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate their first steps.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with all Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree's infant curriculum.
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking
