Job summary

Bauer Family Resources seeks an Early Head Start Teacher Float to provide infant and toddler coverage across the service area. You will support continuity of care, foster development, and collaborate with families and staff in a responsive, relationship-based program.

The role requires a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, and 2–3 years of relevant experience; Infant/Toddler CDA preferred. Valid driver’s license and travel across centers are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Infant/Toddler Development, or related field with qualifying coursework.
• Infant/Toddler CDA credential preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• 2–3 years of experience with infants/toddlers preferred; Head Start experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage as a permanent substitute across the service area.
• Build secure, nurturing relationships with infants, toddlers, and families.
• Implement individualized routines and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Observe, document, and assess children's progress to support learning.
• Partner with families and staff to create safe, engaging learning environments.
