Job summary

Bauer Family Resources in Lafayette, IN is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher Float to provide high-quality infant and toddler services across the agency's centers. As a permanent substitute, you will cover classrooms birth to three and support continuity of care.

You will collaborate with families and staff to promote development, follow Head Start standards, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Infant/Toddler Development, or related field.
• Infant/Toddler CDA credential preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel across service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage as a permanent substitute across the service area.
• Build secure, nurturing relationships with infants and toddlers and their families.
• Implement routines and curricula supporting infant/toddler development.
• Observe and document children's progress; support individualized learning experiences.
• Ensure health, safety, and compliance with Head Start standards and regulations.
• Engage families through conferences and home visits as assigned.
