Job summary

Pace's Early Head Start program in New Bedford, MA seeks an Infant/Toddler Teacher meeting EEC requirements, with a CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education (or actively pursuing). CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Meet EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Must pass CORI, DCF, SORI and fingerprint-based background checks.
• At least 1 year of infant/toddler teaching experience preferred.
• Physically able to support children with needs and lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs, and supervise activities.

Responsibilities

• Primary: assist planning and managing daily classroom activities; communicate with parents, staff and managers.
• Support program operations and provide services to children and families.

Skills

CPR/First Aid Certified
