Job summary

Oakland Garden School INC is seeking an experienced Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our Reggio Emilia inspired program in Oakland. The ideal candidate loves children, works well in a team, and can engage students to earn their trust.

Required are at least 12 ECE units including Infant/Toddler and a minimum of one year of experience; RIE experience is a plus. Compensation ranges from $24.00 to $27.00 per hour, with health and other benefits negotiable.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate has a great love and patience for children at all developmental stages. Qualifications include the ability to work closely with a team, knowledge of best practices for working with young children and the ability to engage children in order to earn their trust. We are a Reggio Emilia inspired program and our goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child through exploring their unique interests. We appreciate flexibility in regards to learning and applying the unique lens a Reggio teacher must use in order to be successful. At least 12 ECE units including Infant/Toddler and a minimum of one year experience are required. Experience with RIE is a plus!

Compensation: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
