Job summary

BVS, a Reggio-inspired Early Enrichment Center in New Hampshire, is seeking an Infant teacher to join our caring team. The Infant program runs from 7:00 am–5:00 pm, and we support a nature-inspired, child-centered curriculum with outdoor time and strong family partnerships.

The ideal candidate will be excited by child development, able to meet NH licensing standards, and willing to become Infant/child CPR and First Aid certified. Collaboration with staff and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to become Infant/child CPR and First Aid certified.
• Able to meet NH Child Care Licensing Standards for Teacher Qualified.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

We can serve up to 74 children and value our partnerships with our families as well as the community.

BVS, a Reggio-inspired Early Enrichment Center is looking for a phenomenal Infant teacher to join our wonderful team. Our program values the natural world so candidates can expect to enjoy the outside time, natural items within the classroom, and a home feeling to our center. We are serving up to 74 children and value our partnerships with our families as well as the community.
Our Infant program runs from 7:00 am-5:00 pm. We are looking for someone to help foster a child-centered curriculum, model appropriate interactions & caring relationships, and help children to grow and thrive. The ideal candidate will have an interest in child development and be able to be Teacher Qualified according to NH Child Care Licensing Standards. They should also respect and understand that families play a critical role in our program and value a nature-inspired philosophy. We are looking for Lead Teachers for Teaching Positions in our expanding center.
Our Lead Teachers will work with the team and the Director by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. Assisting the team in implementing a quality educational program and developing positive relationships with the children and their parents, observing and documenting children's interests and progress, and relaying that information to parents and staff.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
• Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, order, and availability of classroom materials.
• Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
• Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
• Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to become Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must clear full background check.
• Must pass health screening.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds
• Must be able to sit/ stand for periods of time
