Job summary

Bambini Montessori Academy in Ellicott City, MD is seeking caring Infant and Toddler Teachers to join our team. We serve children 6 weeks to 5 years old in a safe, nurturing environment that supports growth and learning.

We offer a competitive benefits package and professional development opportunities. Employment types include Full-Time or Part-Time with on-site hours from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 45-hour Child Growth & Development certification.
• 45-hour Preschool Curriculum certification (for Preschool Teachers).
• 45-hour Infant/Toddler certification (for Infant/Toddler Teachers).
• Minimum of one year of experience in a licensed childcare center or 30 college credits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities.

Lead Teacher Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 45-hour Child Growth & Development certification
• 45-hour Preschool Curriculum certification (for Preschool Teachers)
• 45-hour Infant/Toddler certification (for Infant/Toddler Teachers)
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a licensed childcare center or 30 college credits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning practices
• Commitment to continuous professional growth
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities

Preferred

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
