Job summary

Celebree School in Richmond, VA is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to shape early development in a nurturing classroom. You will create developmentally appropriate experiences, implement lesson plans, and support infants and toddlers as they explore and grow, while upholding Celebree's vision and values.

You will guide classroom aides, ensure a safe environment, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with families to promote learning. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills; patience, flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the day's activities alongside our infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate their first steps.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with all Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree's infant curriculum
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking
