Base pay range

$12.00/hr - $13.00/hr

Summary

Under the supervision of the Director, in cooperation with other staff, and consistent with the center's mission, the Infant/Toddler Teacher is responsible for implementing the education and social development of children. The role requires patience, a compassionate demeanor, creativity, and a background in early childhood education. The Infant/Toddler Teacher will create and maintain a positive learning environment, ensure classroom standards are met, and comply with state licensing requirements.

Duties

• Provide caring, positive leadership for staff and children.
• Maintain a safe and engaging environment for children.
• Offer exceptional customer service to parents.
• Recognize and implement safety standards in all activities.
• Participate in creating fun and educational activities.
• Align with the center's mission and values, demonstrating and teaching accordingly.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in early childhood programs.
• Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications or obtain them within 90 days.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Perform physical tasks including moving, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
• React calmly and effectively in hazardous situations.
